My name is Molly and I am a food scientist and a new mom. I have a B.S. in Biochemistry and a Masters in Food Science. I currently work as a product developer for a major food company. I also recently completed culinary courses to become a "Certified Culinary Scientist". In 2014 I won a national contest for America's Best Raisin Bread (see photo). I have a wonderful husband named Bryan and a one year old baby boy named Jack. We also have a small dog named Riley, who is currently Jack's best friend :)
About The Blog:
This past year has completely changed my perspective on food. As a food scientist I know what goes on in the food industry and want to share my knowledge with you - to inform you and give you knowledge on what your family is eating. I will also be sharing personal stories including my own infertility journey. I am a foodie and love to cook and with my recently culinary certification I hope to share with you some healthy and easy recipes you can make at home!
Why is it Called "Peaches and Puffs"?
When thinking of a name for this blog I wasn't sure what to call it. However, when i thought about my current life and foods we currently "can't live without" it is peaches and puffs. My baby Jack is addicted to puffs and loves fruit, especially peaches. They are the lifesavers right now to keep Jack in his high chair and happy. Since this blog will focus on baby and toddler food, I liked the name "peaches and puffs" Enjoy!
